Actor Jeremy Renner celebrated his 52nd birthday on Saturday by sending a message of gratitude to his medical team.

“Thank you to the critical care medical team for starting this journey,” the now 52-year-old wrote on Instagram.
The post, posted late Friday, is the third update Renner has shared since being hospitalized.
Recall that Mr Renner suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries on January 1 after being run over by a snowplow near his home in Nevada.
He has since undergone two surgeries.
Jeremy Renner also posted a video update: “A spa moment in intensive care to lift my spirits”.
Renner also shared a brief video of his fans dancing to artist 50 Cent’s song “In Da Club” to wish him a happy birthday, and he thanked them for their “birthday love.”
Several other actors also sent birthday wishes to Renner.
“Happy birthday to one of the toughest guys I know,” wrote Chris Evans on Instagram, for example, accompanying it with a photo of Renner. “I send you so much love on your way”.
Washoe County Police Chief Darin Balaam told a news conference Tuesday that Renner’s snow plow began to roll away from the driver’s seat.
The man was injured as he tried to get back into the machine, Balaam said.
Due to harsh weather conditions, a helicopter was used to transport Renner to the hospital.
