Almost a month after the announcement of his tour This Is Me… Now, Jennifer Lopez has canceled dates without even providing an explanation to her fans. Since then, speculation has been rife: could disappointing sales be the cause of these cancellations?

The dates planned for Cleveland, Nashville, Raleigh, Atlanta, Tampa, New Orleans and Houston are therefore canceled.

On Facebook, the 54-year-old star shared the revised dates of her tour on Wednesday without any mention of cancellation.

Several spectators expressed their surprise under the publication, visibly saddened not to see their star in their city.

“I had tickets to Cleveland, but we got an email saying it was canceled, I don’t know why, I would have liked her to make an announcement to explain why some of her concerts are canceled,” said writes Becky Yoder. Several people responded to him, also disappointed with the situation.

According to Variety, Many tickets are still available for the thirty or so shows still on the schedule.

Amid much speculation, blogger Perez Hilton also commented on low ticket sales through X:

“Oh. My. God! Look at how many tickets are left for Saturday night’s show in Miami. Sad. I love #JenniferLopez and I hate it for her!”

The tour kicks off June 26 in Orlando and stops in Toronto, Miami, Los Angeles and many other cities.

Jennifer Lopez will stop at the Bell Center on August 5.
