Although there are regular rumors that the former Hollywood dream couple, who divorced in 2005 following five years of marriage, might get back together. They get along well, but that’s all there is to it.
However, there is still a reunion to report. A special aired last year on the hit series Friends, which ran between 1994 and 2004, saw a big reunion for Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry and Matt LeBlanc.
Through “Friends” and the role of Rachel Green, Jennifer Aniston once became a star. But the series was both a curse and a blessing. “I mightn’t get rid of Rachel Green for the life of me,” Aniston told The Hollywood Reporter.
“So I struggled with myself and with who I was in this industry up until then. It was always regarding proving that I was more than that person,” Aniston said. She was afraid that she might only be the “girl from the New York apartment with the purple walls”.
Especially with romantic comedies like “He’s just not that into you”, “We are the Millers” or “…and then came Polly” the actress tried to break away from her Rachel image step by step.
She recently showed her more serious side on the Apple TV+ series The Morning Show. In it, Jennifer Aniston plays a tough presenter who loses her longtime colleague in a #MeToo scandal and suddenly has to befriend an inexperienced co-host.
Meanwhile, Jennifer Aniston has landed back at Netfilx. Together with her buddy Adam Sandler, the two of them also stood in front of the camera together for the romantic comedy “My Fictitious Wife”, she is currently shooting “Murder Mystery 2” in Hawaii. The first part of the comedy was one of the biggest hit films on the streaming service.
And the shooting seems to be very relaxed: Jennifer Aniston recently posted a picture on Instagram where she is standing by the sea with Adam Sandler. There were more than seven million likes for this – including a holiday feeling. This Friday (February 11) the actress celebrates her 53rd birthday.
