DeKnight blasted the star for Scream 6 in a series of tweets, stating that by speaking out publicly in such a way, she had publicly embarrassed the series’ showrunners. He criticizes her for her lack of restraint (but blasts her on Twitter!) and quite clearly implies her behavior during filming: “She’s young, so maybe she doesn’t know any better (but she should). She should also think regarding how she would feel if the showrunners gave an interview and talked regarding how difficult she was and refused to act. matter.”
This explains why, on the set of season 2, Jenna Ortega will serve as executive producerwhich means that she will have a say in all stages of creation.
