The actors Jenna Ortegas and Martin Freemans sex scene in the film “Miller’s girl” has led to a storm of criticism, reports Daily Mail.
The film is regarding teacher Jonathan Miller, played by Martin Freeman, who begins a relationship with 18-year-old Cairo, played by Jenna Ortega, despite their large age difference.
Viewers: “They’re all disgusting”
When the film premiered, criticism poured in from viewers.
“I feel uncomfortable,” writes one person.
“I think I’m done watching movies with couples who have a big age difference. They are all disgusting and I’m sick of it. Not even Jenna Ortega or Martin Freeman might save this movie,” writes another.

The intimacy coordinator fights back
Now the film’s intimacy coordinator strikes Kristina Arjona back once morest the criticism and says that Jenna Ortega was “completely comfortable and confident” when she filmed the sex scene. Arjona says Ortega was involved in all decisions regarding how the scene would be executed and insists no boundaries were crossed.
The actors were also given written information regarding how everything would work and might change their mind at any time if they didn’t feel comfortable, says the coordinator.

Not everyone agrees with the criticism
Several viewers also defend the film and believe that the criticism is exaggerated.
“People talk like she’s a kid and it’s not a movie scene,” writes one person.
“Do people not know that she is 21 and works as an actor? She is not ‘Wednesday Addams’ for real,” writes another.
