A report came out that a coach from the national team assaulted students and coaches at a famous fencing club in Jeju Island.

According to MBC’s exclusive report on the 1st, a couple coaches who were national players and won international competitions assaulted an 11-year-old student.

According to the informant, “The director said he didn’t need a kid like you, so I kicked him hard in the pit of the stomach and fell.”

A 16-year-old student also released a picture of his shoulder that had been assaulted two years ago.

The assault and verbal abuse continued from the original student to the coach.

The former coach said, “(The coach) was swearing at me, so I was angry at the moment, so I looked at it like this, then grabbed the watering can (flower pot) next to me and hit my left thigh.”

Another coach also left the fencing world following being slapped several times.

The director of the couple is said to have completely denied the allegations during the police investigation. He claimed it was “discipline” for some of the student’s families.
