In the new episode of Married at First Sight season 7, viewers were shocked to learn that one of the contestants, Jefferson, was rushed to the emergency room following a violent assault. What happened ?
M6 broadcast the fourth episode of season 7 of Married at first sight this Monday, April 10. In addition to the union of Emmanuel and Léa, viewers have learned that Jefferson had been the victim of an attack which he described ashomophobic, when he was regarding to join Pedro with whom he is 79% compatible. This is the voiceover of Married at first sight who announced the bad news at the very end of this fourth episode, thus teasing the fifth to be discovered next Monday.
“Jefferson’s condition will unfortunately call into question his marriage to Pedro. And difficult decisions will have to be made” we say on M6, before specifying: “Injured and traumatized, the young man had to be rushed to hospital”. Jefferson immediately wanted to speak out regarding the assault in an interview with TV Staremphasizing that she had not been “recognized as being homophobic” because he was not insulted, before reporting the facts precisely.

Explaining that everything had happened very quickly that night, at the exit of a gay club, the insurance agency manager of 31 ans clarified that two of the attackers “beat” while another “hissed while turning around” of him “so that we don’t hear” his cries. Shocked by the premature departure of the police following they had been approached, Jefferson pointed out that he was physically injured. “I have my vest in blood, I bled ear, nose, everywhere, I can’t walk. And I spend five hours in a small room in the ER, alone. They didn’t want my sister to come with me. Five hours staring at the ceiling” he recalled, before sharing his fear that his participation in Married at first sight not be compromised.
It was impossible for him to know at that time if he was going to be able to take the plane to join Pedro in Gibraltar. “I told myself that I was ruining everything while I didn’t ask anyone“ he estimated following he was admitted to the emergency room, before pointing out that the production had been “amazing”. Many of the team members of Married at first sight actually heard from him, which allowed him to conclude: “There is authenticity in front of and behind the camera”.
However, he remains mysterious regarding his meeting with Pedro, although the 40-year-old decorator was not very sure of himself in this fourth episode of April 10. Both have already shared the pressure on their shoulders as they become the show’s first gay couple…
