Jeff Jarrett had just returned to WWE behind the scenes as the director of Live Events (the non-televised shows).
Unfortunately, it seems that his adventure ended this week. Indeed, Brad Shepard has obtained confirmation that WWE has fired Jeff Jarrett from this role and that he is now without a contract.
Jeff Jarrett had his place in the WWE Hall of Fame in 2018 and he reconnected with the federation to find a place as a producer in early 2019 and finally obtain the role of head of Live Events. Lately, he had also taken on a role on screens as the special referee for the match between The Usos and the Street Profits at SummerSlam 2022.
We can imagine that he will soon be back on the independent scene since he already made a few appearances and matches there before joining WWE full time. He also had league approval to play in the Ric Flair Last Match last month. At this time, the news has not been officially confirmed and Jarrett has not commented on the matter.
