Jeep Avenger: This is what the first electric Jeep looks like

At the start of 2023, Jeep is expanding its model range with a small electric SUV. Developed for the European market, the Avenger is positioned just below the slightly larger Renegade and is primarily aimed at a younger female clientele. At least that’s how the builder sees it. The Stellantis subsidiary announces a range of 400 kilometers and all-wheel drive. However, the latter will only be available as an option. The other technical characteristics of the vehicle will only be revealed during its official presentation at the Paris Motor Show, which will take place from October 17 to 23. The Jeep Avenger will be built in the city of Tychy, Poland.

The Avenger is one of four all-electric models that Jeep has planned to launch in the European market by 2025. At this point, the American brand also plans to release an electric quartet in the United States, which should not however, only partially coincide with the European programme.

The top-of-the-range Wagoneer S SUV, with an output of 441 kW/600 hp and a range of 650 kilometers, as well as the Recon off-roader have already been announced. Both visually and in terms of four-wheel drive technology, the 4X4 is inspired by the brand icon that is the Wrangler and is equipped with electric differential locks as well as removable roof panels and doors. .

The Recon and the Wagoneer will be built and marketed in the United States from 2024 before being offered later in Europe. The brand plans to sell 100% electric vehicles in Europe by 2030, compared to 50% in the United States.
