Jeddah Municipality’s Health Certificate and Food Inspection Program: Ejada Efforts and Baladi Platform

The Jeddah Municipality issued and renewed 8,724 health certificates during the month of May, while examining 3,873 food samples through the Laboratories Department.

This comes within the framework of its monitoring efforts through the Ejada program on health facilities.

The Secretariat explained that the inspection tours included health facilities within 16 sub-municipalities, with the aim of raising the percentage of commercial and health facilities’ compliance with the quality of services provided, and contributing to food security and safety.

She indicated that commercial establishments can issue and print a health certificate through the “Baladi” platform without the need to review the Secretariat, by linking the results of the medical examination with the health platform electronically.
