Lilian Delaveau’s plan to allow families to scan a QR code on a funeral monument to discover a video memory of a deceased has divided investors from Who wants to be my partner? on M6.
The tone rises in Who wants to be my partner ! This Wednesday January 12, 2022 on M6, in the second issue of season 2, Jean-Pierre Nadir and Anthony Bourbon fought over one of the files featured on the show. It must be said that at 26 years old, it is a more than original project that Lilian Delaveau has come to offer to investors. After the death of his grandfather in 2019, this young man had the idea to create Requiem Code, a company that would allow families to scan a QR code on a funeral monument to discover in augmented reality a video memory of the deceased. A project which made M6 investors uncomfortable and which was at the origin of a tense exchange between Jean-Pierre Nadir and Anthony Bourbon. The first being absolutely once morest the idea which would be a “negation of mourning” according to him (see video below).
“I take no glory from this passage”
For Télé-Loisirs.fr, Jean-Pierre Nadir agreed to come back to this particular moment and the muscular exchange that resulted from it with Anthony Bourbon. “My point is not very brilliant, I do not take any glory from this passage there, he admits. We had two very different visions that resulted in this sequence. It was better that we are this exchange there, between us, rather than with the candidates. The weapon pass we saw in this episode is the only one of the season“. Regarding his relationship with the creator of Feed, Jean-Pierre Nadir explains that he recognizes himself in him.
“Before the show, we didn’t know each other with Anthony (Bourbon). We discovered each other on the set the first day. We did well because we have a bit of the same routes. We are one of those people who came from a background that had nothing to do with business. I recognize myself well enough in him when I was young. I liked it right away. I liked his outspokenness and his intellectual agility. He dissects the cases very well. He has a lot of flair in his ability to analyze the projects that have been presented to us. We created an emulation that tended to favor deals. When the jury is open, caring and wants to move forward, it promotes empathy with entrepreneurs“he told us.
They have become “very close” since the end of the shoot
Same story with the 33-year-old investor. “Jean-Pierre (Nadir) is someone I appreciate and I think it’s mutual. He is someone who is straightforward, who has created himself. Entrepreneurs always have a little ego so everyone wants to defend their opinion. We always do it in the interests of the entrepreneur. It is often during brainstorming or heated debates that good ideas emerge. We stayed very close in life following the show and we regularly invest together in files that I receive “ he explained to us.
