Jean-Pierre killed with a stab in the throat: “Nothing allows to say that it is about a homophobic crime”

There is no lead to confirm that this is a homophobic crime.

It is 1.30 am, on the night of Thursday to Friday, when the Liège police are called to intervene at Monsin Island, an industrial zone located between the Meuse and the Albert Canal. Passers-by have just discovered a lifeless body near the Marexhe bridge, one of the entry points to the island. The man has a bloody wound in the throat caused by a knife.

The help immediately dispatched on the spot can do nothing for the victim, Jean-Pierre François, 69 years old, of Baelen.
