Jean-Paul Kawerk is a 14-year-old Lebanese guy who has a very beautiful and sensual voice.
Jean Paul is still in his studies, as he is in the fourth grade (the 4ème) at the French Lycée in the Nahr Ibrahim area, but he decided, in addition to his studies, to record his first cover and sang a song by the late international star Frank Sinatra, which is on YouTube and attached here.
Jean-Paul’s singing talent is the heaviest and he is still doing that by studying, since he studied from the age of 7 until the age of ten, solfege and vocalis, then he stopped for a short period and completed his studies two and a half months ago and continues to do so.
And in an interview with Jean-Paul Quark, he told us many details regarding himself.
Why did you choose “My Way” by the late international star Frank Sinatra to present it as your first cover?
I chose this song to present it as a cover because of my intense love for the late international star Frank Sinatra, so I wanted the work to be a love for his memory, and the meanings of the song are strong and deep, as it talks regarding independence and how every person maintains his identity and self-confidence, and this song taught me that everyone must do his own thing On his own way and not on the ways of others, and he does not listen to any bullying or ridicule from people, and changes for his sake and not for the sake of the other.
This song falls under my message to young people to preserve their identity and not follow in anyone’s footsteps.
Are you thinking of participating in the talent discovery program?
Yes, I would love to participate in The Voice if I had the opportunity, but it is not a primary goal for me.
Do you sing in Arabic and French?
I have not sung in Arabic yet, but it is called a lot of religious hymns in Arabic, and if I decide to sing in Arabic, I will present a hymn.
And I sing in French, because my school education is French.
what is your ambition ?
In my studies, I want to be a doctor. Singing is a talent and it has a great place in my heart. It helps me, encourages me, and relieves me from the stress of studying as a kind of Music Therapy.
