The double episode of “Léo Mattei” broadcast this evening on TF1 welcomes Mimie Mathy in the role of Chantal, the hero’s sister at heart. Jean-Luc Reichmann recounts his friendship and his reunion with the star of “Joséphine, guardian angel”.
On the occasion of the final double episode of its season 10, broadcast this Thursday April 20 at 9:10 p.m. on TF1, Léo Matteï welcomes a very special Alex Reed in the person of Mimie Mathy, who finds for the occasion Jean-Luc Reichmann, of whom she is very close and with whom she had already filmed twice in Joséphine, guardian angel.
In this new investigation written by Franck Ollivier, Elodie Hesme, Marie Milojevic and Vincent Germain, Matteï, Inès (Lola Dubini) and the rest of the team are interested in the case of Marceau (8 years old) and Jade (14 years old) who, on leaving a climbing course, are intentionally run over by a fleeing car. Jade escapes unscathed but Marceau is in absolute emergency.
Who would want to go following Jade to the point of wanting to kill her? While Léo Matteï begins by suspecting Yann Aguilar, Jade’s climbing teacher, played by Philippe Bas (Profiling), the cop from the Marseille miners’ brigade must also deal with the return to his life, on a private level, of his best friend Chantal, played by Mimie Mathy, whom he has known for many years.

“Having Mimie as a Alex Reed, we had been thinking regarding it for a long time, but we had to find the right opportunity to introduce this character. Mimie, when I say she’s my big sister, she’s a real friend. 15 years ago she invited me in a Joséphine, guardian angel to play an organic farmer. 3 years ago I did another episode in which I was a sports coach in figure skating. There is a real bond between us, a real bond. We love each other a lot, and I think that shows in these episodes”.

“For this tenth anniversary we wanted to invite lots of friends and Mimie was obviously at the top of the list”continues Jean-Luc Reichmann, delighted that the schedule of the star of Joséphine, guardian angel was able to agree with the filming schedule of Léo Matteï. “It was not easy in terms of schedules but we got there, I’m very happy. When we want, we can”.
Fans of TF1 dramas should love seeing these two leading actors from the channel come together for a double episode rich in twists and emotions. Before a return of Chantal in season 11, of which TF1 has not yet confirmed the start of construction, despite writing which has already begun?
“Mimie was delighted, the last day of filming was filled with emotion”confides Jean-Luc Reichmann regarding his friend and playing partner. “She told me that she would very much like to come back.
