In the United States, a woman is accused of having killed her companion by running over him. According to a witness, she would have used an AirTag upstream to spy on her boyfriend.

But their use is sometimes misused for malicious purposes. across the Atlantic, a man had installed an AirTag in his girlfriend’s vehicle to track her down. A practice that has occurred regularly since the release of the tracer, several women having reported having been harassed in this way.

Also in the United States, IndyStar reports a bloody incident involving the AirTag, which occurred in Indianapolis. Andre Smith, 26, died after being deliberately hit three times by a vehicle. Arrested in the process, his girlfriend Gaylyn Morris, 26, is accused of having murdered him.

Morris then explains to the witness that Smith is her boyfriend but that he is cheating on her. Seeing red, the young woman grabs an empty wine bottle and plans to use it against Smith’s supposed conquest. She then swings the object towards the woman but the man intervenes. The trio is then invited to clear out of the bar. But the woman targeted by the bottle stays inside, long enough to receive her order.

Also according to the statement of the witness made to the police, Morris abruptly got into his car. She would then have crushed Smith three times before trying to attack the woman who remained in the bar. Officers eventually intervene to arrest him. Morris is charged with murder. The Marion County District Attorney’s Office has yet to determine the final charges against her, according to the regional news outlet.
