JBL unveils headphones with world’s first smart charging case

JBL Company released unusual headphones Tour Pro 2. This model is the first in the world that has a charging case with a full touch screen.

The screen on the case allows you to navigate through the widgets, in which music control, volume change, equalizer and other track settings are available. From this screen, you can also receive calls, reply to messages on social networks, view notifications, time and other information. You can leave your smartphone in the locker room, and take only headphones with you and stay always in touch.

Unfortunately, the headphones do not have a built-in Wi-Fi module and a SIM card slot. Accordingly, it will not work to completely replace the smartphone with such a gadget.

The JBL Tour Pro 2 features 10mm drivers and six microphones (three for each ear). The earphones support a smart active noise cancellation system that analyzes the level of ambient noise and makes sure that you only hear music. There is also a “transparency” mode.

JBL claims that the novelty is able to work on a single charge for 10 hours in a row and 40 hours with recharging from the case. The headphones come in black and champagne.

The cost of JBL Tour Pro 2 is $249 (15,000 rubles at the exchange rate). They will only be available in the US and Europe.
