JBL is expanding its Brazilian speaker portfolio this Thursday (07) with the launch of the Authentics 500, a model that stands out for its retro look combined with the most modern technologies for sound enhancement and immersive experiences. The device has more power than its older “sister”, the Authentics 300.
The Authentics 500 is equipped with 3.1 channels which, according to JBL, promises realistic sound with high definition. The system has three 25-millimeter aluminum tweeters and three 2.75-inch mid-range woofers, as well as a subwoofer with downward audio firing with SlipStream, a technology that expands the range of lower frequencies.
The set delivers RMS power of 135 W and supports Dolby Atmos Music, ensuring maximum immersion in music playback. Additionally, the speaker has built-in Wi-Fi for automatic software updates and streaming of music, podcasts and other content through Apple AirPlay, Spotify Connect and other technologies.
It is also possible to connect the Authentics 500 with other devices via Ethernet cable, aux in and Bluetooth. For greater convenience, the speaker can be integrated into the user’s smart home and supports Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, allowing playing tracks to be controlled using just voice commands.

Users can customize their audio settings through JBL One, the brand’s equalization application available for Android and iOS cell phones and tablets.
JBL continues to highlight its sustainable strategy for manufacturing products with the Authentics 500, which has 100% recycled fabric in its fabric, in addition to 85% recycled plastic parts. Furthermore, the construction of the model is made from 50% recycled aluminum.

The JBL Authentics 500 is now available on the brand’s website, exclusively in black, costing R$4,299, with the possibility of paying in up to 6 installments via credit card. The platform offers discounts on cash payments with bank slip or Pix.
