On the stage of the Casino de Montbenon, at the JazzOnze+ festival, a no-frills drum kit, a Korg mini-keyboard and a chair with effects pedals are waiting to be picked up. A minimal installation that does not give any indication of what is going to unfold. When Valentin Liechti (drums), Shems Bendali (trumpet) and Rodrigo Aravena (bass) arrive, they take control smoothly, stretching out the notes and touching the drums. And then the rise in power is felt, the drum solos get caught up in layers of electronic music, rock rears its head, dance music too.
