The public braved the cold to attend the new concert programmed by Jazz MDA at the Tarbes instrumental room. The trio N Guyen Lê (guitar), Joël Allouche (percussion) and Dominique Di Piazza (bass). The formation of this trio is above all a story of friendship between three talented musicians.
“I had played with Lê, then with Dominique on numerous occasions but never all three together.” Explains Joël Allouche.
“However, we share our love for world jazz despite our different backgrounds. The fact of us coming together on stage could offer a proposition for a journey. Offering our three personal stories and sharing a little of our Asian, Oriental and African influences. C This is how the trio was born in August 2023.
With Jazz MDA, the trio plays its second concert. And the public particularly appreciated the repertoire of Lê Nguyen.
“Hen Ho” (hope of a meeting), “Dance of the comet” and “Noche y Luz” allowed a unique journey to the land of jazz.
