The Minister Delegate in charge of Investment, Convergence and Evaluation of Public Policies, Mohcine Jazouli, gathered, on Thursday in Rabat, the Directors General of the 12 Regional Investment Centers (CRI) for a first meeting of information and coordination.
This meeting follows the adoption of decree 2.23.310 implementing law 47.18 on the reform of regional investment centers and the creation of unified regional investment commissions, which places the CRIs under the supervision of the Head of Government, indicates we in a press release.
This decision comes in the wake of the High Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI who, in His speech to Parliament on the occasion of the opening of the 1st session of the 2nd legislative year of the 11th legislature, called on the CRIs to “supervise the entire investment process and increase its efficiency”.
It also consolidates the efforts undertaken by the government to unify the governance of investment and is part of the continuity of the reform already initiated by law 47.18 which has made it possible to transform the CRIs, to standardize the investment decision-making framework at the regional level, to simplify procedures and improve file processing times.
This meeting thus marks the launch of the new level of the reform of the CRIs. During this meeting, emphasis was placed on achieving the objectives set by His Majesty King Mohammed VI and the need to work together with all the parties concerned, both at central and territorial level.
