On the social network, Corral Jurado explained that he filed a complaint against the governor of Chihuahua, Maria Eugenia Campos Galvanof the head of the state Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, Luis Abelardo Valenzuela Holguin and/or whoever is responsible for having ordered and executed conduct possibly constituting the crimes of Abuse of Authority, Illegal Deprivation of Liberty in an attempt level and whatever results.
Javier Corral adds in his publication that “The authorities of the State of Chihuahua sought to detain me in a cunning and arbitrary manner, outside of any legal channels, since they did not have the authorization provided for in Section V of the Twelfth Provision of the Collaboration Agreement entered into between the country’s prosecutors’ offices.”
He also explained that, “Because any detention by authorities outside of Mexico City without the corresponding authorization is an illegal deprivation of liberty, and to interrupt the commission of the crimes against me that were taking place, personnel from the Mexico City Prosecutor’s Office intervened to safeguard my physical integrity, freedom and rights. I acknowledge that the authorities of this City acted in accordance with the law.”
The former governor of Chihuahua assured that, “I have not committed any crime and I would prove it if I were allowed to defend myself in freedom, as is my right, and if in Chihuahua the institutions of the justice system were not co-opted by the governor, who in turn is subjected to control and blackmail by Cesar Duarte Jaquez y Manlio Fabio Beltrones. Corral Jurado also stated that, “in my duties as governor of the State of Chihuahua, I have always acted in strict accordance with the principles of legality, objectivity, efficiency, professionalism, honesty and respect for human rights.
