Vehicle growth in Indonesia reaches 4% every year. Meanwhile, the length of non-toll roads and toll roads grows by 6%, and the population increases by an average of 1.1%. Jasa Raharja President Director Rivan A. Purwantono emphasized that the growth indicates an increase in the probability of potential traffic accidents.

During the Hearing Meeting (RDP) between IFG and Commission VI of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Rivan said that Jasa Raharja continues to take various strategic steps, one of which is by building an integrated system with all related work partners, such as the Police, Dukcapil, and hospitals.

“Currently, the average speed of delivery of death benefits nationally can be realized within 1 day and 7 hours. Meanwhile, the completion of the benefits file is achieved within 9 minutes and 13 seconds,” said Rivan, in Jakarta, Friday (20/9).

In addition to the speed of providing compensation, Jasa Raharja also continues to strive to improve services by standardizing care in 582 hospitals under the auspices of the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes).

“We have also launched the Jasa Raharja National Medical Diagnosis, Formulary, and Compendium (DC-FKMN-JR) book which will be a technical guide on treatment costs for hospitals and health facilities that treat accident victims,” explained Rivan.

Meanwhile, IFG President Director, Hexana Tri Sasongko, said that IFG as an insurance and guarantee holding company, was assigned to be an important part in resolving government-owned insurance.

“As a form of government responsibility to save the insurance industry, especially if the solution requires a comprehensive solution across ministries/institutions, of course it also requires support from Commission VI to encourage initiatives taken to resolve existing problems,” he said.

Hexana added that IFG has a future perspective to build an insurance and guarantee industry that can contribute well to the economy.

“And of course also how to build the right paradigm in society so that insurance really becomes a necessity,” he said. (Z-8)
