The Chilean Nicolás Jarry beat the Argentine Diego Schwartzman and settled in the quarterfinals of the Chile Open.

A duel that promised good tennis… and met all expectations. Nicholas Jarrythe main national racket, beat Argentine Diego Schwartzman this Wednesday in a great match at the Chile Open.

After a successful and high-flying debut against the Peruvian Juan Pablo Varillas, “Nico” returned to exhibit a brilliant level against the always difficult trans-Andean player, who a couple of years ago was 8 in the World (currently 37).

Jarry, after three hours and six minutes of playended up winning ‘Peque’ in three sets on the center court of San Carlos de Apoquindo.

The Chilean took the victory for 6-4, 4-6 y 7-6 (2)and beat the Argentine for the first time in his career (history was 4-0 in favor of Diego in the previous one).
