The Japanese company HW Electro has announced a miniature Puzzle van, which, in addition to its modest size, is distinguished by the fact that it runs on solar energy. The developer plans to launch mass production of new minivans in the future and bring them to the US market.

The rectangular electric van Puzzle is a continuation of the HW Electro Elemo series of electric vehicles, the representatives of which are designed taking into account the possibility of providing assistance during natural disasters. At 3.4 meters long, the minivan is surprisingly small compared to standard vans. The cabin has two passenger seats with space behind them for cargo, making Puzzle a good option for small companies involved in the production of any product.
The angular body contours combined with the silver paint give the Puzzle a futuristic look, which is complemented by ring-shaped headlights. Since the new product is designed to provide assistance in emergency conditions, it is equipped with external electrical outlets that can be used to power any devices, USB ports, as well as an emergency kit, which includes a first aid kit and a crowbar.
HW Electro engineers equipped Puzzle with an electric drive, but detailed characteristics were not disclosed during the announcement. The most interesting feature of the new product is the presence of three photovoltaic panels integrated into the roof of the body. They will allow you to replenish energy while driving to increase your power reserve. How the energy collected using solar panels is stored is unknown. It is also unclear whether it is possible to charge the battery pack from charging stations, which may be relevant in cloudy weather.
HW Electro did not specify how much the Puzzle minivan will cost for free sale. This will probably be done closer to the start of the first deliveries. According to reports, the company plans to begin selling Puzzle in the US market in 2025.
