A low pressure system will develop at the beginning of the week

From tomorrow the 11th (Monday) to the day following tomorrow, the 12th (Tuesday), a developing low pressure system will pass near Honshu. The weather is expected to deteriorate in western Japan tomorrow, and in eastern Japan and the Tohoku region the day following tomorrow.

As warm, humid air flows into the low pressure system from the south, there is a risk of increased rainfall, especially in areas on the Pacific coast. Additionally, as a low pressure system develops, winds are expected to increase across the country. The weather can be rough in some places, so you need to be careful.

In addition, in the northern Tohoku region, which is on the north side of the low-pressure system, snow will fall mainly inland, and there are likely to be places where the amount of snowfall will be high. Please pay attention to how the snow falls.

A low pressure system will approach next weekend as well.

From the 13th (Wednesday) onwards, “winter-type pressure distribution” and “low pressure passage” will be repeated in short cycles.

From Friday the 15th to Saturday the 16th, a developing low pressure system is expected to pass through the Tohoku region. The weather is expected to deteriorate once more over a wide area of ​​the country next weekend, with many places in northern Japan likely to experience snow. In the Tohoku region, where a low-pressure system passes, there is a possibility that more snow will fall inland.

After the passage of this low pressure system, a strong winter-like pressure pattern will develop, and the weather may become rough on the Sea of ​​Japan side. Please pay close attention to the weather information as there will be many days of rain, snow, and strong winds on the Sea of ​​Japan side of northern Japan for some time to come.

Temperature changes in a zigzag manner

Temperatures are expected to remain higher than normal in western Japan and the Tokai region from tomorrow onwards. Fukuoka and Osaka are expected to experience temperatures above 20℃ in the latter half of the week, making it unseasonably warm.

Temperatures in the Kanto and southern Tohoku regions vary greatly from day to day, and there are days when the experience can suddenly change within a single day. Especially next weekend in Tokyo, the maximum temperature is expected to change by regarding 10 degrees Celsius each day.

In Hokkaido, the maximum temperature is around 0℃, and even in Sapporo, there are likely to be midwinter days when the maximum temperature is below 0℃. From the 17th (Sunday) onwards, strong cold air is expected to move in, causing temperatures to drop rapidly across the country.
