A delegation from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), made up of experts in teaching didactics, expressed interest in training Angolan primary school teachers in Didactics and Pedagogy of Mathematics teaching.
This confirmation was given to the Minister of Education, Luísa Maria Alves Grilo, at the hearing given to the Japanese delegation, which came to show the results of a study carried out in a classroom environment, in initiation classes, in Angolan public schools.
The Japanese experts, for seven days, observed the teaching dynamics and diagnosed difficulties and solutions, taking into account the Japanese country’s greatest experience in teaching Mathematics. The commitment was made to carry out the first training, starting next October 2024, with teachers included in the ongoing curricular transformation process, in order to have a more capable vision for improving Mathematics teaching.
