Janmabhumi | From river to river, people are responding ‘You can’t watch it without shedding a tear. ‘Hindu extermination took place’

Thiruvananthapuram: ‘Puzha Tod Puzha To Puzha’, which tells the story of the 1921 Hindu genocide, was screened successfully in theaters in Kerala. Director Ramasimhan received reception in many places in Kerala itself. The film was screened in Mumbai, Mangalore, Bengaluru and Chennai all on demand. Now the exhibition was also held under the leadership of the Malayalee organization in North America.

The movie is getting good response from the audience. The reaction from a theatergoer the other day went like this: “It’s a timeless story. You’ll cry at some points.”

Another viewer says: “The story has been tried and true. It’s a good story.”

A viewer reacted with extreme emotion: “You can’t watch it without shedding a tear. You will feel it. Hindu annihilation has taken place. He who has a heart will become many things.”

The director also gets great praises: “Having respect to the director. Its scenes are mind-blowing.”

There are those who are of the opinion that you should go and see the movie in the theater: “It was a super movie. It is a movie that has emotions when you watch it. It is like reading history with a book. You have to go and see it in the theater. It has captured the things of the past accurately.”

Now Hindi is also coming down from river to river. The dubbing of the Hindi version is underway. . The movie will soon release in Kannada as well.

The film was made with two and a half crores. Of this, two crores were collected directly from the people. People gave money through bank account. The shooting took place for 50 days at a cost of Rs 2.5 lakh per day. Then dubbing work and post production work. Still, Ramasimhan says that the allegation that he had cheated people of the money they gave him caused pain. Making this story, which no one dares to touch, into a film is an achievement claimed only by director Ramasimhan.
