Icône pop, RnB et funk, Janet Jackson releases the candles to celebrate the 25th anniversary of his album The Velvet Ropereleased on October 7, 1997: considered one of the best albums of the artist’s entire career, the opus is part of a fundamentally pop register that is tinged with funk and RnB in bits.
For the occasion the youngest of the clan Jackson has decided to play the nostalgia card by resuming exactly the same date, October 7, to unveil the reissue of the album which will include tracks that have remained unavailable until now on music streaming platforms, several B-sides as well only remixes of his titles.
