Article: Alex Hopley – Gamereactor.cnMediEvil is a PlayStation classic, but even following its sequel won the BAFTA Game of the Year award, series co-creator James Wilson seems to have been struggling to find work of late. In a post on Twitter/X, Wilson explained that recent financial troubles and a trip to the hospital forced him to sell his Game of the Year BAFTA trophy. The starting bid is £6,000, but if anyone is willing to pay more then the offer will be accepted. Wilson also sold a Sir Dan Hand figure and a Funko Pop signed by Sir Daniel Fortescue.https://twitter.com/GunnWriter/status/1727338534770774045The fact that an industry veteran who created some iconic games has had to put their property up for auction shows just how tough 2023 has been for game creators.
