James Cooke: surprisingly, yes.You know, some people close to me – especially my mother – were worried that I was losing too much weight. They just want what’s best for me, and they weren’t sure about this whole fitness thing.

Archyde: What has been your approach to dealing with these differing opinions?

James cooke: I try to remember that everyone is entitled to their own perspective. Ultimately,this is about me and my health.I feel great, and that’s what matters most. But I also appreciate their concern and try to keep them involved in my journey.

Archyde: You’ve mentioned establishing a enduring routine going forward. What does that look like for you?

James Cooke: It’s a balance.I’m enjoying the results, so I definately want to keep up with exercise and healthy eating. But I also want to enjoy life! Restaurant meals and treats are still part of my life – just in moderation.

James Cooke: That’s a good question. Maybe I would have focused more on the mental side of things. This journey has been about more than just changing my appearance. It’s been about self-revelation and building mental strength.
