In a related context, Hamad bin Khalifa, President of the Qatar Football Association, said: “I express my happiness to be in the sisterly Republic of Egypt and in the Egyptian Football House and its Federation, which is one of the oldest federations in the Arab world.”

He added: “My visit today is of a friendly nature, but at the same time we talked regarding cooperation between the two federations, and God willing, soon we will sign a cooperation agreement between the Egyptian and Qatari federations in most fields, and the exchange of camps between the two countries and in the framework of arbitration and medical, the development of coaches and players and the exchange of experiences.”
