Jalal Al-Sharqawi’s daughter reveals to “The Seventh Day” the health condition of her father in the Isolation Hospital

Abeer Al-Sharqawi, the daughter of the great director Jalal Al-Sharqawi, said in an exclusive statement to “The Seventh Day”, that her father had contracted the Corona virus ten days ago and was placed in the isolation hospital, and following ten days the tests are still positive, and this matter is a problem, especially since his response The treatment is not strong, and his lungs were greatly affected by the virus, and Abeer Al-Sharqawi asked all fans of the great director Jalal Al-Sharqawi to pray for him to complete the recovery.

And his daughter, Abeer Al-Sharqawi, announced this through her page on the social networking site “Facebook”, asking for prayers for her father, where she said: “Papa has contracted corona and the lung has problems, please pray for him that the lung responds to treatment as soon as possible.”

It was mentioned that director Jalal Al-Sharqawi has a long history in art, especially in the field of theater. He was born on June 14, 1934. He obtained a Bachelor of Science from Cairo University in 1954, a Special Diploma in Education and Psychology from Ain Shams University in 1955, and a Bachelor’s degree at the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts with a grade of “Excellent.” 1958 and a diploma in directing from the institute (Julian Bertou) for drama in France in 1960 and a diploma in directing from the higher institute of cinematographic studies in France in 1962, directing department.

At the beginning of his life, he worked as a science teacher. During his artistic career, he held several positions, including teacher of acting and directing at the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in October 1962, director of the Tawfiq Al-Hakim Theater in 1967, and professor of acting and directing at the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts, head of the acting and directing department in 1975, and dean of the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in 1975 and 1979. He is a full-time professor at the Institute since 2006.

Among his most important plays that he directed are: “Dunia Habibiti, Donia Aragozat, Koch, I am Optimistic Tasawour, Houda Karama, Ashts and Honey, Al-Janzeer, Constitution of Our Masters, Khedive, Marry me, O honey, I love you, criminal, Atiyah the terrorist.”
