Jakub Siemiątkowski is dead. He was pushed under a train in Sopot

The incident occurred on a long-distance train platform. The injured person was pushed by an aggressively behaving 20-year-old man from Gdynia. The drivers testified that they had no time to react. The victim died on the spot.

The perpetrator, Maksymilian S., was immediately arrested. He was drunk, and the police found marijuana on him. The first interrogation took place on Monday. The suspect pleads not guilty.

A great tennis enthusiast has passed away

Information about the victim has been published on social media profiles. He is Jakub Siemiątkowski, a student at the University of Gdańsk who regularly participated in amateur tennis tournaments. On Saturday, he took part in the competition.

“It is with great sadness that we inform you that an exceptional player and our friend Jakub, who had been part of our tennis family for 9 years, has passed away. Jakub tragically died yesterday morning in Sopot. It was with us that he won his first cups and built his sports passion. His commitment, talent and smile will remain in our memory forever. We express our condolences to his family and loved ones. Rest in peace, Kuba,” wrote the Don Balon Tennis Center club.
