The Jakarta contingent won the overall champion title in the bridge sport at the 2024 National Sports Week (PON) after winning four gold medals.
As reported by BetweenJakarta also won two silvers and one bronze. The gold came from four match numbers, namely women’s team, mixed team, men’s pair, and women’s pair.
In the women’s pair, Jakarta brought home three medals at once, namely gold, silver, and bronze. The second silver was obtained by their team in the men’s team.
Meanwhile, in the women’s team event, Jakarta strengthened its position as a contingent that has never failed to win gold in that event since the 1996 PON.
In second place in the medal standings, there is North Sulawesi with one gold, followed by East Java in third place with two silver and three bronze.
In fourth place is Central Java with one silver and one bronze. Then, in fifth place is the host Aceh who won two bronzes, the same as South Sumatra in sixth place.
Finally, in seventh place is West Kalimantan which won one bronze. (Z-6)
