Several areas are considered particularly vulnerable, including Kamal Muara, Kapuk Muara, Penjaringan, Pluit, Ancol, kamal, Marunda, Cilincing, Kalibaru, and muara Angke. According to Isnawa Adji, head of the Jakarta Regional disaster Management Agency (BPBD), the alert serves as a crucial reminder for residents in these areas to take necessary precautions and remain vigilant.

Despite recent heavy rainfall, Jakarta experienced minimal flooding on Thursday.According to officials, the deluge affected a mere 0.003% of the city’s 30,772 neighborhoods. “For today (Thursday), the inundation that occurred only covered 0.003 percent of the total 30,772 neighborhoods in Jakarta,” stated Adji.
