Prior to the duel once morest Honduras, Lozano assured that while he is in El Tri, he will not use Quiñones as a center forward.

“At the moment, we have Julián considered as a midfielder. There is great competition, many players, fortunately we have in this call two or even three players per position to be on the field,” said Lozano.

“In this case and due to the little time we have had to work with him, we believe that the position that, more or less, resembles what he has been doing at his club is that of midfielder.”

On the other hand, Jimmy assured that he has the desire to see Julián reach the level that he showed at some point with Atlas and that little by little he has been showing off with America.

“The group has received him very well, he was very excited to be with us and we are also happy that he can give us a hand, that he feels comfortable,” he commented.

“What he has to do is what he has done all his life, play soccer, he has reached a very high level with Atlas and he is doing it once more with América, he is confident and calm regarding what he is going to do, we have not seen pressure in extra that he carries, on the contrary, he seems very calm and happy with the rest of the players.”
