Jailbreak palera1n is updated with iOS 16.3.1 support

supporters of jailbreak who have an older iPhone/iPad, but who keep updating their devices to the latest version of iOS, can now celebrate: the tool bucket1n (of the type semi-tethered) has been updated to support the newly released iOS 16.3.1.

I say that you must own an older iPhone as the tool does not support the newer models. More precisely, there is compatibility with devices equipped with the chips A8 until the A11 starting from iOS 15.

The new version was rewritten in C programming language, offering better stability. In addition, it also implements improvements such as password support on A10(X) chip devices, performing automatic adjustments, updated loader to support rootless e rootfulas well as a smaller file size, among others.

Described as an “in-development and experimental project”, the jailbreak allows users to download apps from alternative store Sileo and make changes to the system that iOS normally doesn’t allow.

As we said, to install it, you need to have an iPhone equipped with at least the A8 chip and a Mac or PC running Linux with the Python 3 installed. Other requirements can be seen on this GitHub page. The detailed installation process is available here for those interested.
