The driver without a license of a stolen car, which had crossed Geneva on three wheels, ended up in a ravine. He was tried in immediate appearance.
At just 18 years old, a driver accumulated offenses before ending up in a ravine in Haute-Savoie (F), last Saturday. Judged in immediate appearance, he was sentenced on Tuesday to two years in prison, including one year. Homeless, the young man – who does not have a driver’s license – had stolen a car two weeks before the facts to make a roof. It was at the wheel of this vehicle, under the influence of hashish, that he made a mind-blowing trip last weekend.
Turned away from a nightclub in Annecy (Haute-Savoie / F), the accused then left to party with his friend in an establishment in Thonon-les-Bains (Haute-Savoie / F). On leaving the club, he then embarked three other friends. In the early morning, the car crossed the city center of Geneva at full speed, the hood smashed, and in a shower of sparks. She was indeed driving on three tires, says the “Dauphine Libere“. Then, launched at 70km / h on a snowy Savoyard road, the machine tipped over into a small ravine, injuring three people. The driver set the car on fire to erase all incriminating traces. Despite his apologies, the driver was sentenced: “You behaved selfishly and completely unconscious,” the judges retorted.
