According to the results of a poll conducted by STI, an opinion polling company, on 880 men and women over the age of 18 living in the Gyeyang constituency for two days from the 19th to the 20th, the approval rating of Candidate Lee recorded 45.8% and Candidate Yoon recorded 49.5%. . The difference in the approval rating was 3.7 percentage points (p), within the error range (±3.3 percentage points).
When asked whether they would continue to support the candidate they supported until the election day, 92.9% answered that they would continue to support the candidate. 6.1% answered ‘can change’ and 1.1% answered ‘don’t know’.
93.3% of Lee’s supporters and 92.4% of Yoon’s supporters said they would continue to support them.
When asked regarding their chances of winning, 49.8% chose Lee and 45.9% chose Yoon.
The approval rating of the Incheon mayor candidate also showed a close match within the margin of error. Democratic Party candidate Park Nam-chun’s approval rating was 41.1%, and People’s Power candidate Yoo Jeong-bok’s approval rating was 47.0%. It was followed by Lee Jeong-mi of the Justice Party with 4.3 percent and Kim Han-byeol of the Basic Income Party with 2.0 percent.
