Without going through an official divorce process, it turns out that Will Smith and his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, have been separated for a long time since 2016. In a talk show together with foreign media, Jada made a surprising statement to everyone regarding her relationship with her husband.
He also explained the reasons they chose to hide this fact from the public. “Still trying to figure out between the two of us, how to be a couple,” said Jada, quoted from the page cnn entertainment, Thursday (12/10/2023).
“How do we convey that to people? “We haven’t found the answer yet,” he continued.
Jada Pinkett Smith admits to having an affair
Will Smith and Jada Pinkett’s marriage began to be in the public spotlight after the wife’s affair was revealed to the public.
In all events, Will and Jada brought up the past of their relationship and revealed that singer August Alsina once had an affair with Jada.
“I got involved with August,” Pinkett said. She explained that her relationship with Will was going through a very difficult time when the affair occurred.
After investigating, it turns out that Jada and August were close when she and Will separated. Will also admitted that the situation had taken a toll on him.
“I’m not sure I can talk to you again. Like the fact that I’m talking to you again is a miracle. (Wedding) is not for the faint of heart. There are just certain things you have to get through. “I hope it’s all magic and miracles,” Will said.
Jada also said that neither of them wanted a temporary separation.
“You have to go through some things to get answers. And I’m happy because I really believe that you and I, we once thought that we would make it back,” he said.
