Throughout the summer, Thomas and Jacques Dutronc performed together on stage, all over France.
In an interview with the magazine Sept à Huit, they notably returned to this tour, somewhat disturbed by the heat he had this summer, but also by the Covid, which Jacques Dutronc contracted. Which forced him to rest and not be able to perform for a few days.
The father / son duo also gave news of Françoise Hardy, suffering from laryngeal cancer and whose condition is very fragile.
“Mom, there, she’s not in great shape, so to enjoy, to have a good time with her, it’s not very easy. […] the poor thing is not very easy for her. The sadness is that she mightn’t even come to see us”explained Thomas Dutronc.
You might see the emotion of the singer while speaking, as well as that of his father, Jacques.
“Finally, she watches a lot of little movies on Youtube that people make with their phones and all that”added Thomas.
Both regretted not being able to have Françoise Hardy by their side, especially since this tour, “it’s a bit for her”added Jacques Dutronc. “I do it with Thomas, but it’s all that for her. I think it makes her happy”he continued, his throat knotted.
