The signing of Jackson Muleka from Burnley is seeing a twist. According to several Belgian media, the English club and the player have not reached an agreement.
A few days ago, Burnley and Standard de Liège agreed to transfer Jackson Muleka for an amount of 3 million euros. But this sum is not enough for the Congolese striker who would have more attractive proposals. According to the Turkish press, Besiktas bet bigger and might succeed in attracting the player. Indeed, despite the agreement between his club and Burnley, the other courtiers did not let go.
This agreement was only concluded between two parties. The player had not yet given his approval. For now, Jackson Muleka has returned to Standard Liege following his loan spell at Kasimpasa ended. He is part of the group of 28 players who travel to the Netherlands for the preparation camp.
