The diaries of “Abu Samel” and “Umm Samel” take a different form during the Ramadan season within the episodes of the family comedy “Jack Al-Alam,” starring Reem Abdullah and Majid Mutreb Fawaz, written by Amani Al-Sulaimi and Zayed Al-Ruwais, directed by Abdullah Al-Arak, and shown in Ramadan. The work deals with the contradictions of the new civil life with the customs and traditions maintained by the family and the desire to reconcile them amid social criticism from contradictory personalities.
The recipient gets to know the diaries of the characters in the work and their guests, through separate, connected episodes. The series includes a group of Saudi actors, along with Reem Abdullah and Majid Mutreb Fawaz, Sami Hazem, Hadeel Al-Otaibi, Khaled Al-Baqmi, with the participation of the artists Ali Al-Hamidi and Habib Al-Habib, and with them Muhammad Talq, Ajiba Al-Dosari, Fahd Al-Mutairi, Lulu bint Abdulaziz, Fay Fouad, Abdulaziz Al-Shammari, Adel Shakri, Seeta Al-Sibai, Salem Al-Khuzaim and others.

Actress Reem Abdullah believes that the character “Umm Samel” expresses the smooth and simple social woman, pointing out that “through our work, we imitate every Gulf and Arab home, within light-hearted daily events that I hope will meet the public’s expectations.”
She goes on to say, “The work is an extension of the sketches that sparked controversy in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf in particular, and the Arab world in general, as the audience loved the characters of the Bedouin couple and the harmony between them, and through the work every wife will see herself in (Umm Samel), and every husband will find himself in (Abu Samel). ), within a spontaneous atmosphere without affectation.”
Reem confirms that the work discusses beautiful topics between the past and the present, praising the work under the direction of director Abdullah Al-Arak, and the beautiful ideas that the writers developed within a work based on situational comedy.”
The Saudi artist points out that “the work includes a group of actors appearing as guests of honor, supplementing it with multiple and new dramatic lines.” She concludes by stressing, “I love the diversity and color in the characters between comedic and tragic, and I am eagerly awaiting the broadcast of my Bedouin series soon on MBC and Watch.”

Until we talk regarding the Bedouin community that is beloved by the people, with its beautiful dialect and vocabulary.”
He explains, “Reem Abdullah is the daughter of the environment and the simple Bedouin society, and I am the son of this society, and there was great harmony between us to the point that we remember some details from the past and laugh, and this harmony between us increased with the filming of this work.” He says, “We have roles that constitute a great addition, which will draw attention to them, including (Samil), played by the young actor Khaled Al-Baqmi, who dazzled us with his sensibility, and Hadeel Al-Otaibi in the role of (Wadha), along with Habib Al-Habib, who honored us with participating in appearing as a guest of honor, within the series Episodes in the role of uncle and brother (Umm Samel).”
