According to the newspaper Indian Express the film Shatrughan Sinha’s son Loo Sinha, who is gearing up to show his acting chops in Ghadar 2, has revealed that his father sometimes did not eat to save money for bus tickets.
Speaking to television host Siddharth Kannan, Lo Sinha said that whatever he learned in life, he learned from his father. He said that he had heard stories of his father’s hard times before he became successful. There were moments when Shatrughan had to decide whether to save money for traveling to important meetings or buy food.
Lou Sinha said that sometimes his father chose to eat and walk long distances, and at other times he would skip meals to save money. Lo Sinha became emotional recalling these experiences of his father.
He added that since Shatrughan Sinha had left his home in Patna to pursue a career in films, he was often subject to fears and apprehensions whether he would make it as an actor or not. Lu added that his father’s family had high hopes for him and his superstar father never wanted to come back as a failure.

According to Lou Sinha: ‘There was a time when they were at their peak. Although our house was small at that time, it was full of people. Then when his films started failing, there was no one around. I have seen both the rise and the fall closely.’
Luo Sinha was also asked regarding the love-hate relationship between her father and Amitabh Bachchan.
The two actors were known as brothers but Luo Sinha also spoke regarding the rivalry between them. The young actor said that since he was quite young then, he doesn’t know much regarding what went wrong between them. He further said that he respects Amit uncle and his family. Talking regarding Abhishek Bachchan’s film journey, he said that he celebrated himself in a few years.
He said that as far as rivalry is concerned, when there are two great actors, there is competition between them, but it was not a personal matter. There are times when others try to turn you once morest each other. This is how misunderstandings arise. But maturity is when you realize the truth and come back together.
Ghadar 2 will see actor Sunny Deol and actress Ameesha Patel reprise their roles as Tara Singh and Sakina. Lu Sinha along with Utkarish Gupta, Samrat Kaur and Manish Wadhwa are also in the cast.
