“It won’t take us 40 years to do the job”: The Régie des Bâtiments removes an advertisement from the scaffolding of the Palais de Justice
”There was no reason to renew the planning permit for these two double-sided raised devices (2x16m² and 2×18.5m²) located on either side of Boulevard Général Jacques, at the Gare de Etterbeek-Ixelles.”
Renewal requests had been submitted by SNCB, Infrabel and the owners. But an unfavorable opinion was given by the Ixelles consultation commission. The alderman reminds that the panels must have a permit, limited to 9 years.
“The job of is to attract the eye. Now is not at all the time to distract the motorist.”

On the other hand, the impact on road safety: this Couronne-Jacques intersection is in fact an area with a concentration of accidents. “The job of is to attract the eye. Now is not at all the time to distract the motorist.”
