IU donates 200 million won for the underprivileged at the end of the year… “I wish you all a happy end of the year”

The good heart of national singer-songwriter IU was demonstrated once once more this winter.

On the 30th, EDAM Entertainment announced that IU donated a total of 200 million won to the underprivileged through Yeouldol, a support group for children with rare diseases, Korea Children’s Welfare Association, milk delivery asking for the safety of the elderly, and Babsang Community Briquette Bank.

IU’s donation move this time is connected to a series of good deeds she has done with ‘Uaena’ (fandom name) since her debut.

The donated money delivered is used for living and care environment improvement expenses for children and adolescents suffering from rare diseases, and for support for fostering, educating and self-reliant children and adolescents under protection. In addition, milk will be used for social contribution activities to ask regarding the welfare of the elderly living alone in the region, and to share briquettes and provide heating supplies for the heating vulnerable.

Through the agency, IU said, “Thanks to the love and support I received from many people, I wanted to share that love with you as much as I spent a happier and more precious year than ever before.” I hope I can send it,” he said.

Meanwhile, IU recently won the New Actress Award at the ’27th Chunsa International Film Festival’ and the ’42nd Korea Film Critics Association Award’, followed by the ’42nd Golden Cinematography Film Festival’, and achieved three new awards.
