Ittihad Jeddah repeats Helder and Nuno duo

Riyadh: Issa Al-Hakami

The Portuguese of Angolan origin, Helder Costa, joined his compatriot coach Nuno Santo in Al Ittihad Jeddah to score the second double between them following the Wolverhampton Wolverhampton experience, which brought them together in 2017.

The Saudi Jeddah Federation announced on Sunday that Costa had been loaned for one season from Leeds United, England.

The market value of the 28-year-old player, according to Transfermarket, is currently 4.5 million pounds, which is 10 million pounds less than its value three years ago.

Costa, who represented the Sunni teams of Portugal and the first team of Angola in 4 leagues before reaching the Saudi League, was Portugal with Benfica, Spain with Deportivo La Coruna and Valencia, France with Monaco, and with Wolverhampton and Leeds in the Premier League.

For his part, the Saudi youth reached an agreement with his Qatari Arab counterpart to buy the contract of Angolan striker Arun Salem Bubindza (28 years) for a period of 3 years.
