It’s an individual sport, if something goes wrong, the engine can’t run.” The Djoker does not name his illness, but makes it clear: “It is not a corona virus and I do not want to give any further details. But it’s something that affects my metabolism.”

Djokovic continues: “It’s disturbing to have this feeling on the pitch. I didn’t feel tired until the end of the second set. The game to make it 5-4 was a long game and that’s when I started not feeling good. That also happened to me in Monte Carlo.”

Missed several tournaments

Djokovic is known not to have been vaccinated once morest the corona virus. According to his own statements, he has already been infected twice with it. Nothing is known regarding the course of the disease. “That has never happened to me, not even in the early stages of my career. But first in Monte Carlo and then here, »says Djokovic regarding his tiredness. “So I think it has to do with the illness I went through, which was a bit tough, both physically and mentally.” By the time the French Open starts on May 22nd, the superstar wants to get back to his former level of fitness.
