“It’s the perfect performance”: Rozalén shines with her Bonnie Tyler imitation

Rozalén was in charge of closing the second semi-final of Tu cara me suena 11.

The singer-songwriter from La Mancha has admitted that she was very scared and had been invited to perform on several occasions… the wait was totally worth it because she surprised us with an almost perfect imitation of It’s a Heartache, the popular rock song by Bonnie Tyler from 1979.

Dressed in an unrecognisable way, she nailed Bonnie’s raspy voice and left the jury members speechless. As expected, she was offered a spot on the next edition of the show. “Between the look, the voice and the breathing… this is the perfect imitation,” said an excited Santiago Segura.

“Just because of the nerves I’ve been through, I don’t know if I would be a contestant,” Rozalén confessed, acknowledging the hard work that the contestants have done this year: “Getting into the swing of things and doing this seems very complicated to me, although it’s really cool that I dared to come.”

“We were all looking at each other because it was impeccable and brutal,” Chenoa recalled.

Press play and don’t miss his performance.
