The general secretary of the UGTT, Noureddine Taboubi specified that his meeting with the head of government, Najla Bouden and the president of the UTICA, Samir Majoul, at the Kasbah is not part of the signing of a new social contract.
In a statement to Mosaïque fm, he explained that “Tunisia has a pilot experience in social dialogue (…) Common agreements will be discussed within the framework of the National Council for Social Dialogue (…) Dialogue sessions between the government , the UGTT and the UTICA will start from next Monday to find solutions to the economic and social issues,” he said.
